Hafjell Activities: Hafjell has fantastic skiing but we know there is more to a holiday than that! Hafjell has great activities outside of skiing. If you have a non-skier in your group, they can feel just as involved by staying here. Hunderfossen Winter Park & Ice Hotel:
This is a very unusual excursion, just across the lake from the ski slopes lies the magical Winter Wonderland of the famly park. Here you can do ice bowling, mini skidoos, curling, tree top walks and plenty more. Open from late afternoon to early evening twice a week, your rep will organise your visit here at your request.... relax with a drink in the ice bar, and have a nosey round Norways only Ice Hotel! Great for adults and children! (Family Park opening hours dependant on weather, very early in the season, and very late in the season may see the family park closed) SSSPEEEED!!! The 4 Man Bobsled!:
A once in a lifetime trip! Hafjell has one of the only bob tracks open to the public in Europe. There are 2 ways to do the bob... the bob raft, suitable for over 11 years old, slightly slower than the taxi bob, a professional driver takes you down 1710m, reaching speeds of 85 km/ph an incredible thrill! The taxi bob sees you hit speeds of 120 km/ph through more than 15 bends. Awesome! For any of you 'Top Gear' fans it was this track used for their filming 4 years ago. Dog Sledding:
Take a magical trip through the Norwegian Forest. But don't think its relaxing, you take it in turns to drive the dogs, very exhilarating just don't shout 'Mush' too loudly! Formula 1 on snow!:

It's a sledge with a steering wheel and a handbrake! The steering wheel attached to the draglift on the nursery slope. Great fun for when the skiing has finished!
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays sees night skiing in Hafjell. From 5.30pm -8pm the slopes are floodlit. Great for those who just can't get enough! Free with all 3 day or more lift passes.
